A new Director's Cut premiered in September 2023 at the Venice Film Festival. It includes 24 minutes of previously unreleased footage. Most notably, the scene in which Coral prepares to perform an abortion is extended to show the procedure, and the scene in which she prepares to murder the a child plays out in full, with her shown putting the girl in the tub and drowning her. I am not sure that this version posted here is a Director´s Cut release.

This documentary is far from an ordinary profile of Georges Delerue. It also serves as a calling card for Ken Russell, whose work would define the 1970s as Delerue’s did in the 1960s. It begins with a sly work of pastiche, parodying the conventions of French noir. It goes onto encompass slapstick, verité scenes of the Delerue family and a harrowing montage of the Vietnam War. This eclectic approach gives us a sense of the different facets of Delerue’s life- his love of cinema, his home life, his work ethic. It also prefigures Russell’s feature length biopics of Mahler and Liszt, though in a more modest- and lucid- fashion.

Binet’s first independent feature film is exceptional in French film history. With its uncanny atmosphere, this visually exquisite study of female erotic fantasy was largely inspired by the short story “Dunkler Frühling” (Dark Spring) by the German poet Unica Zürn, whom Binet very much admired. In three stories woven together in various ways, she tells of the crime of one man (Michael Lonsdale), the unfulfilled love of a young girl and the fate of a neglected wife (Carol Kane).
Director: Catherine Binet.
Writers: Catherine Binet, Bram Stoker (short story “Dracula’s Guest”), Unica Zürn (novel).

This is one of the surviving episodes of the British TV Series - Out of the Unknown, aired from 1965 to 1971. Something similar to The Twilight Zone. A classic anthology science fiction series which features adaptations of stories by famous authors including Isaac Asimov, J.G. Ballard, Frederik Pohl and John Wyndham.
This is the second episode.

"Je T'aime, Je T'aime (1968, Alan Resnais), a rarely-seen science-fiction cult film, exercises the viewer's mind with superb style. As with the films of Jean Luc Godard, "Je T'aime" has a chaotic narrative which oozes with dystopian gloom. The non-linear structure is a bit fatiguing and frustrating. Still, I like it because of the arresting imagery and magnetic cast.
Claude Ridder (played by Claude Rich), who has held many different office jobs, has recently survived a suicide attempt. When leaving the sanitarium, Claude is approached by creepy members of a secret organization which is conducting time-travel experiments. At the remote facility he is encouraged to allow the scientists to transport him back a year in time for a minute. The scientists tell him that they have successfully conducted this experiment with lab mice and now need him for the first human trial. A few days later, Claude and a mouse (in a small container) enter the Time Machine (which looks like a human brain from the outside). The Time Machine (TM) starts up. Woops—it immediately begins skipping like a dirty CD. While the scientists outside the TM lament their inability to stop it, Claude begins reliving short segments of his past randomly without end. He can exit the TM only after decompressing for four minutes; but the endlessly-looping Time Machine keeps interrupting the closing sequence. The repeated perspective of a large brain in the background with anxious scientists in the foreground worried about the brain's condition comments upon brainwashing.Director

Elizabeth still relies on her Spirit, the elder Cecil but his son now serves the Queen and serves her well despite her ever changing moods. If his father can deal with it, so can he but like his father he has another favorite causing chaos in the realm but as I said before, Devereaux is worse than Dudley.
This is no more evident then when he DARES to try to raise a hand to her in front of her Council and they all prove they would be willing to kill him right then and there because what he did was treason. Still, like Dudley before him, he is bound to make a mistake that will get him out of favor.
He does make a mistake and it is the ultimate betrayal, a rebellion! Not even Dudley had the balls to do that and making matters worse he makes fun of her. His arrogance was so great he honestly thought the people would back him but they know which way the wind blows and it is always in the Queen’s favor. This time she does not hesitate. She orders his execution and he can’t talk his way out of it this time. He is even willing to throw his own kin under the bus to spare his swelled head but it’s not enough. He’s finished, it’s his own doing and the Council members present are enjoying every second of his downfall and demise.
Elizabeth’s final days are full of agony and pain. Her servants plead with her to go to bed but she refuses and spends long hours standing, her thumb in her mouth. This actually happened and Glenda recreates this splendidly. Finally she sits down and dies peacefully but not until she names Mary Queen of Scots’ son James VI as her heir and with this final act she unites the kingdoms of Scotland and England.
This series respects the history it represents with a cast equally respectful and sadly they do not make historical dramas like this anymore. Now it’s more sexualized rather than plot driven and younger generations look more to these shows to learn their history rather than look in the materials the writers of this series did.
THIS IS NOT ALL, FOLKS!
I WILL TRY TO POST THE MOVIE 'MARY STUART, QUEEN OF SCOTS' WITH VANESSA REDGRAVE AND GLENDA JACKSON, WHICH WAS FILMED BY THE SAME TIME.
The execution of Mary Queen of Scots has outraged the Catholic factions of Europe and now the Spanish are threatening to invade England. Elizabeth still holds Cecil and Walsingham responsible but Cecil is in poor health and she needs him now more than ever because her realm is in danger. Cecil has put up with a lot from her, yet he is still willing to serve her. So is Robert Dudley who is also in poor health and though still married part of his heart is still with Elizabeth.
His stepson, Robert Devereaux is the Queen’s new favorite and he is a little jealous yet there is nothing he can do about it. Elizabeth likes young, handsome men around her but they need to be able to cope with her ever changing moods like the rest of the court does.
The Spanish invasion begins at sea while Elizabeth rides out to Tilbury to rally her land forces. Glenda recites the Queen’s famous rallying cry with both power and passion and gives the men the boost they need to fight for England. But they really won’t need to. The damage is being done to the Spanish fleet at sea. The defeat of the Armada humiliated the Spanish and Phillip II. It also sent a message that Elizabeth wouldn’t give up her crown without a fight and her people were behind her.
But the joy of her victory is short lived. She soon learns her beloved Robert Dudley is dead. She knew he was ill but wasn’t ready to face the thought of losing him. Now she is forced to and we can see the deep love she still had for him by the intense grief she displays when she is finally alone. In this moment, she is not a Queen but a woman, a woman with a broken heart that will never heal.

LINK FOR THE EPISODE, SUBTITLED IN ENGLISH:
Set nearly 30 years into her reign, Queen Elizabeth has given up on the idea of finding a husband and spawning an heir, so this episode deals mainly with political intrigue rather than the romantic pressures of the previous two episodes. Both queens are presented with noble personalities, so there's no Livia. Livilla, Messalina, Agrappinilla, Eleanor or Isabel to make a she devil out of either character.
Both women knew from birth that family loyalty in royalty is inconsequential when it comes to maintaining order for the throne. In their eyes, the other is the one doing the plotting, unaware of the set-up being plotted around them. In her second episode, Vivian Pickles is quite good, a bit more matronly and age appropriate than Vanessa Redgrave was in the same year's "Mary Queen of Scots" where Jackson also played Elizabeth. Both portrayals are worth acclaim though. The men here in charge of the plot are quite sinister, especially Dudley who tells a condemned man that death is quick but the path to it is tedious before he taunts him with torture. History has been brutal for millenniums, but the subtlety of the hint of that brutality makes it all the more vicious

Elizabeth is charmed by François, but her advisors are cautious and anti-Catholic.
The Puritans in England are also strongly opposed to the marriage.
Elizabeth's xenophobic subjects are also discontent with the proposal.
